Corporate Social Responsibility Activity - Prasetiya Mulya Library
On 20th December 2011, Prasetiya Mulya Library has provided a grant of new books for children (aged 6-12 years) to SDN Tegal - Pagedangan and Orphanage "Mekar Lestari" in Bumi Serpong Damai. The total donations are 392 general knowledge books and 41 magazines. Grants received by Mr. Dede Muman as the principal of SDN Tegal and Sister Wilhelmina as the Head of Orphanage.
Those books have been processed as library collection, the librarian of Prasetiya Mulya also provide the simple catalog for book searching, book labels with different colors that are categorized by age, book classification according to the Dewey Decimal Classification, and the guidelines for book cataloging & classification.
Book grants are each worth IDR. 13.185.255 or the total value of IDR. 26.370.510. The Fund is from the library fines of Prasetiya Mulya’s student. Hopefully in the coming years Prasetiya Mulya Library can deliver useful reading materials to schools and orphanages. Keep moving forward Prasetiya Mulya Library!
