Therefore, educational institutions that provide Finance Program are expected to their education system and curriculum to the needs of the capital market industry”, says Adrian Rusmana in the signing of educational cooperation between the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (“STIE”) Prasetiya Mulya with PT Trimegah Securities Tbk ("Trimegah Securities") in the Prasetiya Mulya Campus, Cilandak, Jakarta on Thursday, October 4, 2012. Adrian Rusmana - Director of Trimegah Securities and Prof. Djoko Wintoro PhD - Chairman of STIE Prasetiya Mulya agree on some forms of cooperation in education for three years period which can be extended.
Also attending the signing, among others, Lukas Setia Atmaja PhD - Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Yane Chandera, MBA - Head of Undergraduate Management Program in Finance - Eko Suhartanto, MT - Deputy Head of Undergraduate Program Prasetiya Mulya, Agus D Priyambada - Corporate Secretary, Vivi Sutardi - Head of Human Resources, M Djuarsa - Head of IT Trimegah Securities.
This collaboration includes the preparation of curriculum and syllabus related to the Capital Market. Trimegah will also share their knowledge and experience as a guest lecture in Finance S1 Mulya Prasetiya Program, and will provide support in the trading-investment lab work in Prasetiya Mulya Investment and Trading Lab in BSD Campus. In addition, the partnership also agree admission on full-time internships for Prasetiya Mulya students including integration of internship assessment with elective courses, and opens up opportunities for the graduates who want to build their career at Trimegah.
Djoko Wintoro warmly welcomes this cooperation. "This collaboration is in line with the efforts Prasetiya Mulya that has always established connectivity with the industry", he says. "The opportunities for other forms of cooperation with Trimegah Securities also possible because we are always open for innovations", he adds. In line with Djoko, Yane Chandera, says this partnership confirms that the Finance Department has focused Prasetiya Mulya curriculum in the Capital Market, and directed students to become professionals in the Capital Market industry.
Adrian hopes that the signing will be able to further promote Capital Market to college students considering the strategic role of the Capital Market in the economy of a country, and the huge potential of Capital Market, both as a provider of alternative investment, and as a career option, such as analyst, financial advisor, investment banker, fund manager, or a sales, both at Trimegah.
